TV series start and drop off points

    Are there any patterns as to at what point within a series (i.e. what season etc.) people start or stop watching TV series?

        Related question – what’s the average drop off rate between season 1 and 2 and then subsequently? Any trends below/ above average per category/genre?

          That’s interesting, I’ll take a look.

          From what we saw with The Office (https://vodclickstream.com/how-did-the-office-perform-on-netflix/), I would expect that seasons breaks are not all that important. That said, all episodes from The Office were available all the way through our study period so it might be different if a newer season is added at later date.
