The VOD Clickstream project has been three years in the making. Many amazing people have been involved behind the scenes to bring this project to life.
Below are our principal team who have created the project you see today. This multidisciplinary team has a truly international flavour, brought together by their love of film and data science.
Stephen Follows
Founder
Stephen is a renowned data researcher in the film industry whose work has been widely covered in numerous major publications. He has acted as an industry consultant and guest on the BBC Radio 4 series The Business of Film, which topped the iTunes podcast chart, and has consulted for a wide variety of clients.
Dr José Eliel Camargo-Molina
Data Scientist
Dr. Camargo-Molina is a theoretical physicist working on how some of the “largest” things in the universe (such as vacuum energy or dark matter) are related to the “tiniest” ones (such as the Higgs boson or quarks). He is part of GAMBIT, a world-leading collaboration using supercomputers to study how novel theories stack up when confronted with real data. He is also co-founder and director of Art & Science Initiative, an organisation that fosters interdisciplinary collaborations.
Jack Tann
Data Analyst
Dr Alejandro Celis
Machine Learning Scientist
Dr Alejandro Celis gained his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Valencia. He has since worked for a number of leading European Fintech companies as a data scientist. His specific area of interest is machine learning and its data applications.
Victoria Myerscough
Project Manager
Victoria is a marketing consultant and writer. She has worked with a number of leading brands in the public and private sectors. Having studied film at a postgraduate level, she founded the award winning website The Book, The Film, The T-Shirt in 2012. Victoria also runs workshops for independent filmmakers on how to create marketing and influencer campaigns to promote their work.
